Our Story

We have been friends since Primary school and since the age of 10 have always shared the same creative interests. Due to not attending the same secondary school, we spent a lot of time together at the weekends, drawing/painting and making silly videos together. A business together seemed to be the dream, but we both never thought about it seriously.

We both attended the same college studying graphic design, also working part-time together. Some would comment on how inseparable we were as we continued to study together at Ravensbourne University in London.

After 4 years of working at our part-time job as cleaners for law firm Mishcon De Reya during our final year of our degree, we were asked to take on a mural project in place of an artist they were no longer able to contact. This project was to paint a bright and colourful mural in their basement level cafe. We completed the commission to a high standard, and were surprised by how much they loved the project. Little did we know, this would be the first of many of our mural projects which lead us to officially form K&B Design Ltd.

Now K&B Design Ltd provides custom hand-painted murals for areas and spaces that need it the most, from the small interior of a salon, to the large exterior of a town park. We believe that good signage or artwork in a public or commercial space sells and will pay for itself many times over. Creating an enjoyable environment is an important factor in what attracts the public to a space and artwork is an effective way of doing this. We are passionate about engaging with the community and creating art with and for the public.
