Shoreditch Art Wall hosts ART VS MACHINE by Art Against Machine

22nd September - 4th of October

Self-taught artists, design graduates and professional craftsman will come together to produce a public art campaign with a twist. They aim to raise awareness of the struggles that artists and designers/makers face in industry and the machine dominated world of design. This community project hopes to both inspire and promote artists in East London that would otherwise struggle to showcase themselves.

Art Vs Machine a public installation on the Shoreditch Art Wall will feature; Fine Art, Illustration, Recycled Jewellery, Sound, Light and 3D Design Installation.

Art Against Machine (ARTAM) is a Shoreditch based art community designed to engage the public, industry and artists. It is a not for profit collective of cross disciplinary artists with the core desire to build a sustainable and flexible portfolio that is adaptable across arts industries. Engaging the local community in order to create a peer to peer learning environment, this allows local craft skills to develop in a technology drenched world.
